We have worked with a lot of hotels during our 3 years of Pretty Little London and it is hard to find a group that we find more pleasure to work with than Hilton. The level of hospitality is always excellent and we always feel as if we were part of a big family, regardless of if it is a Conrad, a Waldorf, a Double Tree or a Garden Inn.
That is why when we heard that Hilton was launching a new Celebrations offering that will be rolled out all across the UK and Ireland, we couldn’t help but venture north for the launch party event in Hilton Manchester Deansgate.
One of the things that we have learnt while travelling is that in almost every city there is a Hilton with a beautiful rooftop bar. That is why we weren’t at all surprised when we found out that the launch event was held in the beautiful Cloud 23, with this stunning view over Manchester.
The Hilton team put together a delicious menu and drink selection for the evening, and talked us through how they are starting to recognise how celebrations are increasingly important to people as a way of spending quality time with friends and family, but quite intimidating and overwhelming to plan. Hilton has been re-looking at the way they do celebrations, making it easier, more approachable and more exciting, giving customers the choice, help and attention they need when planning a party to create an event that truly looks like them, without all the intimidating elements that can be a bit daunting.
To do this, not only they’ve changed the way they deal with celebrations internally, but have also created a new food and drink offering that anyone throwing a party or celebration can benefit from.
There are 4 options that can be chosen, and we had a little try of all of them!
There is Street Food Festival showcasing world cuisines, Mix & Mingle made of gourmet canapés and finger food, Live Stations with live cooking demonstrations from the hotel’s chefs and My Dinner Party, created for a more intimate sit-down party experience, where you can create your menu with a chef.
All the packages can be complemented of course with a wide choice of drinks options – from having your own personal mixologist to tailoring your own pop-up bar, or getting help from a sommelier to create the perfect food pairing.
The Celebrations offering looks to simplify any party-planning that you may encounter when celebrating with friends or family. It’s as easy as this: a Hilton representative, called your ‘Moment Maker’, will be your go-to person from the very start of the party-planning right through until the end, to make sure that it’s an event to remember.
After a delightful evening with this beautiful view, it was time to head back to London. Any party or celebration we have moving forward, we definitely know who we will be calling!
