Today we will be looking at The Potting Shed restaurant, which is housed at the Dorset Square Hotel in Marylebone, where we went for a nice and lovely brunch. The restaurant is located in one of the most urbane and exciting residential areas, where attraction such as Regent Park, The Sherlock Holmes Museum and Madame Tussauds are just around the corner. This is our experience.
So, as it was almost 12 o’clock, we have to say that we were really looking forward to trying our brunch. Looking at the menu, everything sounded really appealing, not to mention the lovely buffet that is right next to our table!
To begin with, we ordered two nice cappuccinos and we went for the already mentioned buffet, filling up our plates with freshly baked pastries and lovely warm scones while our main course was being prepared. While we were enjoying our breakfast, we also ordered two Mimosa to drink with the main.
For the main, here comes the avocado, mozzarella and sun-blushed tomato bagel together with the salutéed wild mushrooms on toast with poached egg and hollandaise sauce. They were both really delicious and above every expectation. Who would imagine that a bagel could be so amazing?
