Today we meet Efe from Croydon, one of our favourite London instagramers. You can find him on Instagram as @justefe
1. Tell us a bit about yourself
My name is Efe, engaged and got two gorgeous kids. My main hubby is photography and Instagram was introduced to me by my brother about four years ago. That has been the platform to share all my pictures.
2. Where do you live in London and what do you like/dislike about that area?
I live in Croydon, there is not much to dislike about my area but I do refer to central Croydon as the Canary Wharf of the south, so much transformation happening at the moment and this will be the case!
3. If you could choose one place in London to live in, what would it be?
It will have to be in the Canary Wharf area, it’s the one part of London that I frequent a lot.
4. What restaurants would you recommend?
A Caribbean restaurant called the Rhythm Kitchen located in Westfield Stratford, Nando’s, the Lotus.
5. Where do you like going out on a weekend?
I generally like to chill out with the family at weekends or with my friends anywhere fun in central London.
6. If you could choose to have one superpower, what would it be and how would you use it in London?
The ability to beam myself from on place to another like Scotty! It would be awesome to catch a sunset from the most advantageous places around London all in the same moment!
7. Are there any hidden gems you know about that you would like to share?
I doubt it because most people seem to know them all! I did come across a roof made out of umbrellas near Borough market!
8. If you could change 3 things about London, what would they be?
Air conditioning on public transport!
No road bumps! More viewing galleries in London’s skyscrapers!
9. Other than London, is there any other city in the world you think is a must? Why?
San Francisco, I absolutely loved my visit there over 16 years ago, believe it or not I have no photographic evidence of my visit! Pre – Instagram and camera phones! It’s a really vibrant city, friendly people and lots to see but too many steep streets though. Lombard Avenue is a must for any tourists.
