We are sure you’ll agree with us when we say that the longest you spend at home the more you start to notice all the little things you would like to improve. And well, as we all have spent – and still are spending – the majority of our time indoors, imagine how many things we want to change in our flat!
One little project we decided to undertake is decorating our wall in the living room, right above our sofa, with some new prints. We really couldn’t stand any longer those two wonky frames that came with our flat!
A great option if you are renting, as there is not that much you can actually change in your flat – is putting up a few prints on the wall. There is quite nothing like it that can give a room a new life so easily – that is why we have collaborated with Desenio, a company that sells beautiful and original prints and frames online.
Desenio is passionate about interiors and modern art. You’ll be sure to find the latest trends in colours and design but also classic and timeless pieces that will never go out of fashion.
Their motto is that art should be available to anyone and well, we couldn’t agree more!
There are infinite styles and incredibly beautiful designs on the website, so we definitely needed some help in deciding and styling up our wall. We checked out their Gallery Walls for some inspiration in compositions and colours that might work well together.
We wanted something classic but with touches of colour to make the room more elegant so we took inspiration from their ‘Spring Fashion Gallery Wall’.
We loved how simple and elegant these frames are, but also we wanted to add a bolder touch so we went for a black and white New York city print capturing the Manhattan Bridge in the middle.
We kept the ‘Champagne Tower’, the ‘Ballerina Preparation’, the ‘CC No9’ and the ‘Pink Dahlia Close Up’ and voila! Our personalised galley wall was done! We then went for different frames in gold and black to mix it up and give a sense of light to the wall, which is not so big.
Next time we will definitely choose some prints from their London collection, maybe a nice map to put up on our bed! And what about you, which prints have you got your eyes on?
